Our meetings are held at the Murdy Community Center at 7000 Norma on the first Sundays of March, April, except June 10 (2012), August, October at 1:30pm. The site is located at Murdy Park at Goldenwest and Warner Avenues in Huntington Beach, California, 92647.

We are open to the public, but encourage interested parties to join the membership for the low yearly rate of $15.00 for individuals and $20 per family (2 adults, minor children) Commercial memberships are available for $50.00 per year.

Our hobbyists share their knowledge and network with other growers and members.  Each of us having certain plumeria expertise we share that works well for us.

Members share in supporting the refreshment table each meeting and it rotates through the alphabetical listing of last names of members.  The raffle table is also supported by member donations.

Our meetings always include a presentation of plumeria sorts.  We try to tailor the lectures to the time of the year that the plumeria are growing.  Topics have included care and use of fertilizers, planting new cuttings, propagation, grafting and number of slide shows from individual growers, vendors and senior members.  Handouts are always encouraged and are available on a “free” basis or nominal fee due to reproduction costs.

Many, many of our members support the Hawaiian culture that so many of us are familiar.  Island attire is encouraged, as well as music and the politeness of the ohana culture.

Benefits of membership are numerous as well as a focused society direction for the sharing and enjoyment of our beloved plumeria.
